At least two families have been rendered homeless on Sunday evening after massive fire engulfed Bonpora area of Shouch in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that fire broke out from the residential house of Abdul Rashid Peer at 3 pm on Sunday which rapidly spread to the nearby houses resulting in complete damage to two residential houses while one other house were partially damaged in the devastating inferno.
They said that the fire was brought under control after a team of fire service department and police reached the spot.
An official said that nobody was injured in the incident and the cause of the fire is being ascertained.
