Three Students of Women’s Degree College in Srinagar test Covid Positive

Three students of the Government Degree college for women in Srinagar were found to be covid positive during the Corona Training Campaign at the Women’s College Srinagar.

The college management, however, has decided to not shut the institute saying, “Necessary protocols are being followed in the college to prevent the spread of infections”.

According to a report published by Jagran, 512 samples were collected in the college under this campaign. On examination, the infection was confirmed in three girl students.

Pertinently, last week the principal of Islamia College of Science and Commerce ordered the closure of the establishment for a week after two members of staff were found to be covid positive.

The colleges were reopened on February 15 in the winter areas of the Kashmir division after a gap of about eleven months.
