
A 67-year-old tourist from Mumbai died in Pahalgam, soon after checking out from a hotel in the south Kashmir resort on Sunday.
Official sources told GNS that the Tourist Uttam Laxman Shinde (67) of Amrul Nager Kherwadi Road Bundra( East) Mumbai Maharashtra suddenly fell ill soon after checking out from the hotel and was rushed to PHC Pahalgam.
He was referred to GMC Anantnag where doctors declared him dead, they said. A police officer confirmed the death of the tourist. (GNS)
