An 8-year-old minor girl was crushed to death on Thursday in Damjan village of Qazigund in South Kashmir.
The girl is identified as Zareena Jan daughter of Shabir Ahmad Bhat of Damjan village.
A local police official told, The Kashmiriyat that a tractor crushed a minor girl to death near the village.
Meanwhile, after the death of the minor girl, locals blocked the National Highway for traffic to demand speedy action against the driver of the tractor that reportedly fled from the spot.
