Trains, Schools, Shops Reopen amid Pleasant Downpour

The Kashmir valley and parts of Jammu have reopened after two days strike called in defence of Article 35 a that grants special status to Jammu Kashmir and prohibits non locals from acquiring or buying any land in Jammu Kashmir.

On Tuesday, educational institutes, Business establishments reopened in Jammu Kashmir while people were seen coming out of their houses after a gap of nearly two days in many areas.

The Train services that were suspended following the strike call which got a massive response from general public, Mobile internet had also been suspended in parts of Kashmir valley.

Moderate to light rainfall was also witnessed in most of the parts of Jammu Kashmir after a spell of heat wave for the past two weeks.

The people welcomed the rains, especially the agricultural community saw the rains as pleasant as the mercury that had increased in the past few days has gone down to several degrees.
