Two Militants have been killed in an encounter that raged between militants and Government forces at Reshi Mohalla area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama District.
Officials told The Kashmiriyat that 44RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police after receiving inputs about Militant presence in the area laid a cordon and search operation in the area.

While conducting the operation, the Militants opened fire upon the forces, they said.
In the ensuing gunfight, two unidentified Militants have been killed.
The identity of the Militants has not been confirmed as of yet.
However Sources said that both the Militants are likely locals identified as Irfan Rather and Adfar Fayaz.
Irfan and Adfar both are residents of Tral and had joined Militancy last year.
Meanwhile Mobile internet services have been snapped in this South Kashmir region.
