
Three persons including a cab driver from Srinagar were killed in two different road accidents in the Jammu region on Thursday.
Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that a driver from the Dalgate area of Srinagar was killed after he lost control of his vehicle falling into a deep gorge near Kela Morh along the Srinagar-Jammu Highway in Ramban district during the wee hours of Thursday.
In another accident near Hamosan village in Reasi district’s Chasana area, two cousins were killed when their vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge.
The victims were identified as 27-year-old Gurbaksh Singh and his 32-year-old cousin Manjeet Singh.
Police have registered cases in both incidents under relevant sections of law. [KNT]
