At least three children were injured in a head-on collision between a school bus and a truck near ellahibagh ahmadnagar area of district Srinagar on Monday morning, reports said.
Immediately after the collision, dozens of locals rushed to the spot and rescued the children who were trapped inside the turtled vehicle and later rushed them to SKIMS hospital in Srinagar.
The injured kids have been identified as Baba arshiqa daughter of Sartaj Ahmad Baba resident of Babapora Zoonimar aged six years, Marayam Zaroo daughter of Shuja Ali Zaroo resident of buchpora Soura aged six years and Bhat hoor jan daughter of Waheed yousuf Bhat resident of ellahi bagh soura aged five years.
The condition of the all the children is stable.Further investigation is on in the case.
