Two teenagers have been arrested for trying to throw mobile phone inside central jail at Kot Bhalwal in Jammu.
As per police sources, two teenagers identified as Raja Kabir, son of Raved and Raja Sohail, son of Khurshid Akbar, both cousin brothers and residents of District Kupwara, at present Billa Colony Malik Market District Jammu were arrested by a team from Police Station Gharota led by SHO Inspector Mahesh Sharma for trying to throw a mobile phone inside Central Jail at Kot Bhalwal late Sunday night.
However, the mobile phone hit the boundary wall and fell outside the jail premises.
The duo was trying to facilitate Khurshid Akbar, who was jailed after found involved in the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act case.
The mobile phone has also recovered by the police and seized accordingly.

A case under FIR Number 9/2021 under Section 130/34 IPC has been registered against Raja Kabir and Raja Sohail at Police Station Gharota and investigation started.
