Two Government Force personnel have been killed while two others critically injured as suspected Militants on Thursday afternoon opened fire on Government Forces in the Lawaypora area of Srinagar.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that militants opened fire in a patrol of Central Reserve Police Force personnel deployed on the Srinagar- Baramulla highway near Lawapora injuring four CRPF Men.
Two of the four Injured CRPF men died on the way to the hospital, while two others are stated to be critical.
Earlier, A Police official confirming the attack to The Kashmiriyat said that a team of Police has rushed to the spot. “We are ascertaining the details, we do not know of the details yet,” he said.
Meanwhile, as per eyewitnesses, a cordon has been launched to nab the attackers.
