Two persons lost their lives, and three others were injured when a vehicle was struck by falling rocks near Zojila in the Ganderbal district.
Officials told The Kashmiriyat that on Sunday afternoon the incident occurred at Paani Mata near Zojila, where an Alto vehicle was hit by falling stones.
The official reported that a woman and a child died at the scene, while three others sustained severe injuries.
They further said that the injured were initially taken to the Primary Health Center in Sonamarg and later transferred to Srinagar for further treatment.
The Ganderbal police are actively investigating the incident.
