The Encounter in Shopian has concluded just now with the killing of the militants hiding in a house in the Kundalan area of South Kashmir’s Shopian District.
Highly placed officials confirmed the identity of the slain Militants to The Kashmiriyat as Sameer Ahmed Sheikh of Ayend Shopian and said the other militant is likely a foreigner.
The Kashmiriyat has been informed that at least 25 civilians were injured during the clashes which erupted after locals hit the areas around Kundalan pelting stones on Government Forces.
However Police Officials are yet to confirm the identity of the slain Militants killed in the area where a search operation concluded just now.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the troopers have finished the search operation and are leaving towards their camps now.
