Two Militants have been killed during an encounter that raged between militants and government forces in the Pahoo area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
An official earlier told The Kashmiriyat that on Sunday afternoon, RR of the Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF launched a joint launched cordon and search operation in the Pahoo area of Kulgam.
During the cordon, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight, he said. Two militants have been killed, who are yet to be identified.
As per the latest report, the search operation is still going on.
