The killing of two unidentified militants by Government forces on Thursday has led to violent protests in Arizal area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that youth in large numbers hit the streets in Harde Panzu and Arizal areas of Budgam as the news of the Militant killings spread in the area .
Shouting pro independence and Pro Militancy slogans, youth hurled stones at the government forces who fired tear smoke shells and aerial shots to disperse the protesters.
However, the clashes between government forces and protesters were going on when this report was filed.
Meanwhile the Protesters allegedly attacked a OB Van of ANI with stones shouting slogan, “Down with Indian Media.”
