Two Unidentified Militants have been killed in the ongoing encounter at Shokbaba area of Sumlar in North Kashmir’s Bandipora District on Thursday.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the forces including RR of Indian Army, and Jammu Kashmir police sealed all the entry and exit points to the Sumlar area.
During the Cordon and Search operation the hiding Militants opened fire upon forces, triggering a gunfight.
In the ensuing gunfight, reinforcements were rushed to the spot and the troops laid a siege around the house in which militants were holed up.

The Militants and forces exchanged gunfire and then guns went silent after two Militants had been killed, Sources told The Kashmiriyat.
