Two more south Kashmir youth go missing

A youth has gone missing from his home in Drawani Imamsahib area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.

Akir Ahmad,22, son of Mohammed Akram Pall, a resident of Drawani Imamsahib in Shopian has been missing from his home since yesterday evening, his family members told The Kashmiriyat.

“We have been trying to call him since, but to not avail,” he said.

Akir’s family has filed a missing report at the concerned Police station in Imamsahib Shopian.

Meanwhile, another youth who a nursing student went missing in Waghama Bijbehara area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

The 20-year-old has been identified as Owais Ahmad, son of Ghulam Mohammad Khan resident of Waghama Bijbehara has been missing since 3 September.

“On 31st August he said that he has been transferred to Islamabad, till 2nd Sep we were in contact with him but from 3rd September his phone was off, we searched him everywhere,” Owais’s brother told The Kashmiriyat

The missing report has been filed in the Bijbehara Police station and his family has appealed to the general public to help them find their son.
