Two school going boys attacked with a knife outside Ganderbal school

Two school-going boys were stabbed outside their school in the Ganderbal district of central Kashmir.

An official told The Kashmiriyat that on Monday afternoon unknown persons stabbed two teenagers in the Behama area of Ganderbal resulting in critical injuries to the duo.

Aged 14 and 16, the two were rushed to the Ganderbal district hospital from where they have been referred to Srinagar for advanced treatment.

The official said that the two identified as Hidyat Ahmed Tantray and Ibrahim Tantray, both residents of Behama, were leaving the school when some unknown persons attacked them with a sharp object.

The Police said that it has identified the attackers and a search has been launched to nab the accused.

Meanwhile, sources told The Kashmiriyat that the condition of the duo is stable.
