Two teenagers were electrocuted in the Shurat area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that teenagers identified as Shavaiz Ahmed Dar, a 13-year-old boy, and Zakir Ahmed Khandey, a 12-year-old boy, both residents of Shurat Kulgam received an electric shock on Wednesday afternoon.
Both were immediately evacuated to a nearby health facility DHS Kulgam, where they were referred to Anantnag Hospital.
Zakir Ahmed Khanday succumbed on the way to the hospital, while Shavaiz’s condition to stated to be stable.
