Government forces have detained two youth during night raids in Sever Thandipora area of Lolab in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Locals said that the forces raided several houses late last night in Sever Lolab and detained two youth from the area.
The arrested youth were identified as Abass Shafi Malla and Ishfaq Ahmad Malla, both residents of Sever Thandipora Lolab.
Reports said that the locals staged a protest in Sever area demanding release of the duo.
The protesters demanding their release blocked Kupwara-Warnow road to register their protest.
The locals allege that forces vandalize the property in the area.
