Two youth go missing from Anantnag area

Two young boys have gone missing from the Anantnag district of south Kashmir following which their families have appealed them to return home.

Speaking to The Kashmiriyat locals from Shangus area of Anantnag said that  two youth identified as Majid Deva and Zubair Malik have been missing since early November.

They said that Zubair Ahmed Malik son of Ghulam Nabi Malik, who is a resident of Sombruna area in Anantnag left his home on November 04 and has been untraceable since.

Majid Deva son of Mohammad Amin Deva، who is a resident of Nowgam was a student and his family has been running from pillar to post to find Majid, however, to no avail.

The duo are said to be neighbours and were both students by profession. “Their families have issued appeals asking their children to return home,” they told The Kashmiriyat.e

The families have filed a missing report in the concerned Police Station. “We appeal the general public to help us trace the duo,” the locals said.

“If anyone has any information regarding the duo, please contact us on phone numbers 8493961068 / 7006413928,” they said.

An official confirming the development said that they have received the missing reports of the two families.
