Two youth from south Kashmir’s Kulgam district have started an e-rikshaw service in the south Kashmir’s Kulgam district which got operational on Friday.

On the occasion of the inauguration of this showroom named ESS KAY, President Municipal Council Kulgam Muneeb Ahmad Zargar, Tehsildar Kulgam, Bilal Ahmad, ARTO and other officers were also present.

The owner of ESS KAY Electric automobiles showroom, Shahid Ashraf and Kifayat told The Kashmiriyat that the aim and idea behind starting the e-rickshaw service was to introduce the service in the market to control increasing levels of pollution resulting from growing traffic in town.

They said that the traffic in the township has got congested and we are hoping that the Rikshaws will restrict the entry of larger vehicles into the town so that it gets easier to commute.

Shahid and Kifayat said that youth must utilize their energies to establish new business start-ups and become entrepreneurs which possess huge potential.
