Unidentified body recovered in Khanabal, Anantnag

An unidentified male body was found on Monday morning in the Nandapora area of Khanabal in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said.

According to local sources, the body was spotted by residents in nearby bushes and is believed to have been lying there for at least four days before being discovered.

Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to ascertain the identity of the deceased and the circumstances leading to his death.
