An unidentified dead body was found lying in the Hassanpora area of Bijbehara in south Kashmir.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that on Monday afternoon locals spotted a dead body lying in the Hassanpora area, after which they informed the Police.
Police have reached the spot and recovered the dead body, they said.
An official confirming the development said that the body was been taken to the hospital for medico-legal formalities.
