An unidentified male body was found in Pannar village of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Saturday, officials said.
An official said that some locals spotted a male body lying in Pannar village following which they informed Pethkoot police station.
He said that soon after the information was received a team of police rushed to the spot and took the body into their possession.
He, however, said that as per initial investigation the deceased was a mentally unsound person and was roaming in the area since last night and was found dead in the morning.
He further said that his identification is being ascertained and investigation has been taken up—(KNO)
