Locals of Chenbal Pattan area in North Kashmir’s Baramulla District on Thursday noon found an unknown body lying down in a Nallah in their area.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the dead body of an unknown person was found floating in a nallah in thye Chenbal area of Pattan.

Upon finding the dead body, the locals of the area called the nearest Police station who have reached the spot.
A Police official upon being contacted by The Kashmiriyat said that the dead body has been identified that of Jan Mohammed Bhat who is a resident of Mamoosa area in Baramulla’s Pattan district and had went missing on 22nd of March.
He said that the family had filed a missing report on 22nd March.
The family had issued an emotional appeal via a video asking their son to return home.
