Suspected Militants on Monday opened fire upon a party of Government Forces at Jandwal area in South Kashmir’s Pulwama District.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that unknown gunmen travelling in a car when they were signalled by the Army to stop, however they did not stop.
The Suspected militants travelling in the car opened fire on the troopers of 55 RR of Indian Army, who retaliated, leading to an exchange of fire.
A Search operation has been launched by the troopers in the area.
