Two individuals were detained on Wednesday evening medico-legal formalities after they were allegedly found inebriated in a vehicle near court complex Budgam.
An official statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that during the night patrol near court complex Budgam, police party spotted a parked Wagon R vehicle and observed some suspicious activity inside.
“When they approached the vehicle, the individuals attempted to flee and the patrolling team fired warning shots in air,” police said, adding that it was later determined that both the individuals were inebriated.
“The duo has been detained for medico-legal formalities while the cognizance has been taken in this regard,” police said—(KNO)
