The Baaridaar Sangharsh Committee, Katra, has asked the BJP, RSS and other Hindu organisations to clear their stand on government control over Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji Shrine.
“It is important because ever since the filing of the writ petition in the J&K High court seeking Hindu control and management of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji Shrine, many BJP office bearers have initiated a slander campaign saying that the control and management on Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji shrine should not go to any Hindu religious denomination and must remain only with the government appointed and controlled Shrine board,” said Sham Singh, president of the committee, while addressing a press conference, here today.
He said that the double standards of BJP on the issue of government control of Hindu religious institution were causing a serious dent and damage to Hindutva movement and the Indian civilization.
