Vehicular movement restricted on Brazloo bridge in Kulgam

The Motor Vehicles Department Kulgam has issued an advisory restricting all types of vehicular movement on the Brazloo Bridge until further notice, citing prevailing weather conditions.

Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Kulgam, Dr. Showkat Ahmad Bhat (JKAS), while speaking to the media, said the decision was taken in the interest of public safety. “This advisory must be obeyed in true faith and spirit and is issued for the safety of the public,” the order reads.

Authorities have appealed to people to strictly follow the directions, refrain from using the bridge until further orders, and remain in touch with the district control room for the latest updates.
