A 2- Minute Video has appeared on the Social media platforms alleging that it is a video shot in Shopian district where the body of a slain Militant is being trashed by Forces on a street.
This two Minute video in which the body of a slain Militant is being carried on a four wheeler shows dozens of Force personnel assaulting the body of a slain Militant and one of the person carrying the body is also being thrashed.
Meanwhile the Local Policemen are trying to save the body from the wrath of the forces.

Various people on Social Media said that the video has been shot on 13 April, when two Slain Militants were killed in the Gahund area of Shopian during an encounter. They said that the video has been shot in Shopian district as intense clashes broke out in Batpora area as the news of the killings spread in the area.
The families of both the slain Militants Shah Jahan Mir in Amshipura and Abid Wagay in Rawalpora Shopian upon being contacted by The Kashmiriyat said that the slain were safely sent home. “The video is not from 13th April for sure,” they confirmed.
However eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that the video has been shot near Batpora Petrol pump in Shopian on 13th April and said that the body of Shah Jahan Mir was being carried to his native when it was stopped by the Forces near Shopian’s Batpora where intense clashes were going on.
The body of Shah Jahan, as per eyewitnesses had bamboo marks all over.
The Video has evoked sharp reaction on Social media as Government Forces are openly seen violating the basic human rights.
A Police official upon being contacted by The Kashmiriyat denied that the allegations before disconnecting the call.
There have been accusations of defacing the Militant bodies they are killed in encounters with Government Forces, recently the allegations of maltreating dead bodies have escalated, burnt bodies of various militants have been recovered from encounter sites.
Last year, the body parts of a slain Militant were recovered for three days after an encounter in Dialgam area of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (anantnag) district.
