Hours after a video went viral on social media in which a youth can be seen beating a school girl, the accused person has been arrested.
Reliable sources said that a minor boy (name concealed by The Kashmiriyat, as per law), who is a resident of Zadipora Khanabal, a student of class 11th has been arrested by PS Anantnag in connection with the beating of a school girl on KP road in Anantnag.
He said that the said accused who is a drug addict can be seen beating a school girl in the viral video.
They said that further investigation in this regard has been taken up. (KNA)
