The Jammu Kashmir Police have arrested a group of youths accused of harassing and attacking a family traveling in a car near Srinagar’s Parimpora road.
Earlier, a video had gone viral on social media showing a family being harassed by several stunt bikers who were kicking the car and forcing some people to come out of the car while women in the car could be heard crying and seeking help.
The stunt bikers can be later seen chasing the family onboard a car near the Parimpora area of Srinagar.
The bikers can be seen kicking the car and opening the window of the car trying to force at least one person on board to get out of the car and asking them to stop shooting the video.
Though the exact cause of the altercation is not know, but Police have taken nine youth into detention.

Taking to Twitter, Police wrote, “Police took cognisance of a video wherein a group of youths on bikes are seen harassing and attacking a family on road. Midnight raids were conducted by teams led by SDPO West & SHO Parimpora.”
“All nine accused are arrested & four Bikes seized. FIR registered in Parimpora PS,” it added.
