
The Indian Army has said that it is trying its best to rescue youth and keep them away from joining Militant ranks in Kashmir.
Expressing thankfulness to Government Forces, The family of Tawheed Ahmed Bhat upon being contacted by The Kashmiriyat has said that the Indian Army helped them to bring the duo back.
“The Indian Army tried their best, they kept on calling us to tell us to bring the youth back,” the family member said.
Two youth from Sopore identified, Sahil Ahmed Malla (20) and Tawheed Ahmad Bhat (24) went missing from home on 25 September 2020 at 9 pm, a Police official told The Kashmiriyat.
The duo was arrested by Government Forces in Hazratbal Srinagar on Monday evening.
A top official of 22 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army posted in Sopore area said that they are making strenuous efforts to keep youth away from taking an extreme path.
He said that the Indian Army os concerned about the well beong of Kashmiri youth in particular and want their lives to be safe.
Asking parents to keep their wards away from Militancy, he said that the priority of Indian Army is to keep the youth in the mainstream and desist from taking up an extreme path.
