Weapon Snatching bid Boiled at Achabal

Unknown Gunmen on Friday night attacked the sentry post of ex MLA of National Conference in Achabal area of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that unknown persons fired at the guard post of the ex MLA, but the alert sentry guards fired in the air forcing the attackers to flee from the spot.

“It was a weapon snatching bid, which failed,” Sources said.

Meanwhile the Government Forces reached the spot and have launched a cordon and search operation in the area o nab the attackers.
