The school education department has decided to extend the winter vacation for all classes upto March 05.
In this regard, a proposal has been submitted by director school education Kashmir (DSEK) G N Itoo to the administrative department.
“The classwork in high end higher secondary classes was supposed to resume from 25th of this month but we have sought extension of winter vacation for all classes from primary to higher secondary classes up to March 05,” the outgoing DSEK said.
He said the formal order for the extension in winter vacation will be issued today later.
He said the government has agreed to extend the winter vacations for all classes.
