Woman dies after being hit by speedy vehicle in Kulgam

A woman died after being hit by a speedy truck in Wanpora area of Kulgam on Sunday evening, officials said.

An official told The Kashmiriyat that the woman was injured after being hit by a speedy truck bearing registration no. JK018-8999 at Wanpora, Khudwani.

“She was immediately shifted to PHC Qaimoh where she was declared dead,” he said.

The deceased was identified as Misra Banoo wife of Ghulam Hassan Lone a resident of Hawoora in Kulgam.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
