The Government forces opened fire on protesters in Hafroo in Chadoora area of Budgam district on Thursday afternoon resulting in injuries to a woman.
Clashes erupted in the area as hundreds of youth hit the streets and threw stones of Government Forces in the area.

The forces resorted with aerial firing in which one lady was hit by pellet and she was referred to SMHS hospital for advanced treatment.
They said that three youth have sustained injuries in the firing incident, who have been rushed to the nearby Chadoora hospital
Meanwhile clashes also erupted in Beerwah, Kandoora, Chewdara, Kawoosa and Rathsun villages of the district.
