Woman killed in Sopore road mishap, driver arrested

A 42-year-old woman on Wednesday lost her life in a road mishap in north Kashmir’s Sopore town.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said an elderly woman identified as Maisara Begum wife of Abdul Rahim Kumar of Botingoo Sopore was critically injured in a road accident that took place at Model Town area of Sopore.

However, she was immediately taken to sub-district hospital Sopore where doctors declared her brought dead reports added.

Meanwhile, police soon after this road mishap arrested the driver and also seized the vehicle.
