Stone throwing incidents have been on rise in the Kashmir valley post the Ramadan ceasefire which saw a drop in the number of stone pelting incidents.
To tackle the situation, The Central Reserve Police Force has prepared a team of Women troopers to deal with stone throwers after it has been found that women are actively participating in Stone throwing.
The team has been provided the special training of fixing weapons in less than a minute, fighting blindfold and tackling the enemy during the night.
Other than this the women teams have been taught special skills to deal with stone pelting crowds especially women and they are expected to soon function in the Kashmir valley.
