The Chairman of Jammu ad Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Mohammed Yasin Malik has been booked under the Public Safety Act and will be shifted to Jammu jail.
The separatist leader was arrested by police in a late night raid on February 22.
His detention had come ahead of a crucial hearing on Article 35-A in Supreme Court.
Malik was arrested from his Maisuma residence and was taken to the Kothibagh Police Station.
