Yasin Malik Detained in Srinagar, Tear Smoke Shelling on Peaceful Protesters

The chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Mohammed Yasin Malik has been detained in Srinagar  after he tried to march towards Badami Bagh army base in Srinagar.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Malik who had went underground to evade arrest appeared in Gaw Kadal and led a march of scores of people, however forces deployed near Budshah bridge stopped the peaceful march.

The Forces fired tear smoke shells to foil the protest and took Malik into detention near Budshah bridge in Srinagar.
