In a heartbreaking incident in Gudder, Kulgam, a young man lost his life while his mother remains in critical condition due to suffocation from charcoal fire fumes.
Officials speaking to The Kashmiriyat identified the deceased as Nisar Ahmad Khan, who passed away at the hospital this morning, while his mother, Fahmida Akhter, continues to fight for her life.
The tragedy unfolded on January 2, when the duo was found unconscious at their home, overcome by the fumes.
They were immediately rushed to the hospital, but despite efforts, Nisar could not be saved. His mother remains under intensive care.
