Young Men have Blown Life into Our Struggle Says Ummat e Islami, Visits the Families of Slain Militants in Kulgam

Jammu Kashmir Ummat e Islami teams visited the families of slain Militants in Kulgam and Islamabad (anantnag) districts of South Kashmir.

The party also paid tributes to Slain Pulwama Militant, Hilal Ahmed who was killed in encounter at Ratnipora Pulwama.

“Young men have blown fresh life into our Freedom movement with their blood,” Waheed Ahmed Khan said.

A team headed by Party General secretary, Waheed Ahmed Khan, visited the family of Dr. Waseem Rather in Ashmuji Kulgam and Hubaib Ahmed in Quimoh, Kulgam.

Expressing condolences with the family, Irshad Attari a member of Ummat e Islami said, “The slogan of unity given by Qazi Nisar is the foremost need to achieve the goal of Freedom.”

They also visited the family of slain Parvez Ahmed in Mokdampora Quimoh and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.

They demanded the release of Political prisoners including Qazi yasir, Sarjan Barkati, Aijaz Noori, Khursheed Ahmed and others.

Qazi Ahmed Yasir was booked under PSA in October last year ahead of elections for giving a call of Redwani Chalo and asking his workers to put Azadi ballot boxes outside polling booths.

Aijaz Noori was arrested in November last year for his speeches and leading funerals of Militants.

Sarjan Barkati was arrested in 2016 October for leading pro Freedom rallies in South Kashmir while Khurshid Ahmed was arrested in November 2017 for sheltering slain Lashkar commander, Bashir Lashkar.

The party also expressed sorrow over the demise of Grand Mufti of Kashmir, Bashir Ud Din.
