Youth allegedly hangs self to death in central Kashmir’s Budgam

A 23-year-old youth was found hanging in the Brenwar area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday.

A police official told Kashmir Dot Com that the victim (name withheld), a resident of Brenwar Budgam was found hanging at his home this morning.

A case under relevant sections of law has been registered in to the incident, the officer said.

He said prima facie it seems a case of suicide even as investigation has been set into motion to ascertain the cause of the youth’s death.
