A young boy was critically injured after being attacked by an unknown person in Qazigund area of south Kashmir.
Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Wednesday afternoon some unknown person attacked one Faisal Ahmed son of Imtiyaz Hussain Ganie, a resident of Qazigund with a knife injuring him critically.
They said that Faisal was taken to GMC Anantnag for treatment from where he has been referred to SKIMS Soura.
“As per initial reports, the accused is an employee of Power Development Department, however, Police has taken cognizance of the matter and launched investigation into the matter, ” they said.
