Youth stabbed in Srinagar’s Eidgah area

An unknown person on Wednesday stabbed a youth with a sharp-edged weapon near Eidgah Park in Central Kashmir Srinagar district on Wednesday.

A police officer told the news agency Kashmir Scroll that a youth was stabbed with sharp-edged weapon near Eidgah park in Srinagar.

He said that the youth identified as Kaiser Ahmad Sofi son of Gulzar Ahmad Sofi a resident of Noorbagh received injuries and was shifted to SMHS Srinagar for treatment. Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance and started an investigation.(KS)
