Four Kashmiri Youths Go Missing from New Delhi

Four people from South Kashmir’s Shopian district have been missing since yesterday from New Delhi.

Speaking to The Kashmiriyat the families of the missing youth said that they have not been able to get to contact their kith and kin since yesterday and have lodged missing reports in the Police Station in Shopian

Two of the four, are missing along with their truck from the Azadpur Mandi of New Delhi, where hundreds of Kashmiri truckers sell their apples.

The duo has been identified as Yawar Wani son of Ghulam Mohd Wani and Dawood Ahmad Thokar son of Mohammed Yousuf Thokar.

Both are residents of Chakoora area in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.

Meanwhile, two more persons identified as Suair Wani son of Abdul Rashid Wani from Shahlatoo Shopian and Arif Ahmed Dar son of Bilal Ahmad Dar who is a resident of Sharatpora Shopian, have been missing from Jamia Masjid Delhi.

The families of these two youth also lodged a missing report.

A Police official said that an investigation has been launched into these incidents and a process has been initiated to trace the missing youth.
