#FromKashmirtoPalestine- Kashmiris Asked to Observe Youm e Quds on Twitter in Wake of Covid-19

As major gatherings throughout the Kashmir valley have been barred in view of the massive spike in the covid-19 cases, Various religious clerics and organizations have asked Kashmiris to commemorate the Youm e Qudus (Last Friday) in solidarity with the people of Palestine on social media.

Various Shia Muslim Clerics have taken to Twitter and asked Kashmiris irrespective of their religious ideologies to observe the Quds day on Twitter and use the hashtag #FromKashmirToPalestine

Moulana Masroor Abbas Ansari, son of renowned Hurriyat leader, Abbas Ansari and currently the chairman of Itehad ul Musileem took to Twitter and said, “On the last Friday of Ramadan, let’s respond to the voice of Late Imam and create a storm on Social media in support of the oppressed Palestinians on social media.”

He has asked people to use the hashtag, #FromKashmirToPalestine

Agha Syed Hadi, another prominent Shia cleric from Budgam in Central Kashmir too expressed his support for the hashtag. He took to Twitter asking his followers to create a Twitter storm by using the hashtag.

Syed Aga Syed Abid Hussain Hussaini, who is also a part of the newly formed United shia leadership front asked the Muslim Ummah globally and Kashmiris, in particular, to help the twitter storm from 5 PM to 10 OM on last Friday of Ramdhan.
