The Jammu Kashmir Police on Friday in a continuation to the special drive launched in Kokernag destroyed poppy spread to over 40 Kanals of land.
The driver launched by Jammu Kashmir Police under the Supervision of SDPO Kokernag, Arif Hussain accompanied with SHO, Mir Imtiyaz destroyed illegal poppy cultivation, in Sagam Tangpawa and adjacent areas.
The Police said they are committed to ensure a complete destruction of poppy, in the Kokernag area.
General public of the area appreciated the action of Police and urged the authorities to continue this drive in nearby areas also.
