US, UK coalition conduct multiple airstrikes in Yemen

In its ongoing agression, the United States and the United Kingdom coalition conducted fresh airstrikes in Yemen.

As per the media reports, the coalition hit various cities including Saada city and conducted multiple airstrikes in Hodeida’s Al-Jabana area.

Last month, the coalition targeted Sanaa and other provinces in a series of airstrikes.

In response, the Ansarallah armed group, also known as the Houthi rebels, claimed to have targeted a US commercial ship in the Gulf of Aden.

The group stated that this action was in support of the people of Gaza and part of their retaliation against Western aggression.

The Ansarallah group is viewed as a threat to Western interests in the region and has been involved in the conflict due to its opposition to the US-backed Saudi-led military coalition.

The group has consistently expressed support for Gaza during the Israel-Palestine war, claiming to have significantly affected ships heading to Israeli ports in the Red Sea.

The United States has consistently expressed its open support for Israel in the ongoing Gaza conflict and has actively opposed any endeavors aimed at providing military or diplomatic assistance to Palestinians in Gaza.

The recent strike, conducted today, constitutes the ninth military operation carried out by the coalition formed by the United States and the United Kingdom since January 12.

According to statements from the United States, Houthi rebels are purportedly targeting Western-bound sea vessels in the Red Sea.

While the precise number of casualties resulting from these strikes remains undisclosed, local media outlets in Yemen have reported multiple civilian casualties amid the continuous military operations.

It is noteworthy to mention that the conflict in Yemen also involves Saudi-led aggression, further contributing to the complexities of the situation.
